Sometimes having diabetes can be a real bummer.

Because you have to manage it all day, every day, and because so many things can affect your blood glucose levels, it can feel like you’re missing out… often on your favorite foods. And let’s face it, dieting is tough.

And it’s not that people with diabetes have to maintain a diet that’s somehow different from the same healthy, well-balanced diet that everyone is recommended. It’s just that the ramifications of deviating from that diet can be a lot more obvious and immediate.

If only there was a way to get our favorite foods without also sending our blood sugar levels through the roof!

Well, there just might be!

This recipe from dlife’s Chef, Michel Nischan, looks so yummy you might not even realize it’s healthy and low-carb!

This delicious pizza-fied Zucchini Parmesan is filled with garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes, and zucchini, all of which are full of so many essential vitamins!

Take a look, and if you try his recipe, make sure to let us know what you think in the comments below!
