Actor Seth Rogen and his wife, Lauren Miller, have a personal connection to Alzheimer’s disease. Laruen’s mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s when she was only 55 years old. The diagnosis forced her to retire from teaching. Lauren’s father is the primary caregiver to Lauren’s mom. Lauren and Seth believe that Alzheimer’s disease needs more attention to increase awareness and research so that they can find a cure.

Watch as they speak to Larry King about their experience, during a 2011 interview.

Since this interview, Seth and Lauren have formed a foundation called Hilarity for Charity, which you can find more information about here. They’ve also presented the need for Alzheimer’s Awareness to a Senate Committee in Washington, D.C., where Rogen said, “Americans whisper the word, ‘Alzheimers’. It needs to be yelled and screamed.”
