Thanksgiving Recipe: Diabetes-Friendly Pecan Pie

I doubt I’m alone in saying I love Thanksgiving!

However, if you have diabetes, Thanksgiving is also one of the more difficult holidays to navigate. I mean, it’s a day that’s comprised largely of cooking, feasting, and relaxing. To add to that, managing your diet while sitting at a table full of delicious forbidden temptations is a tough task. And while we have some ideas for ways to get moving on Turkey Day, which can be found here, navigating the dinner table can still be complicated.

Luckily, there are a variety of recipes out there that can satisfy your sweet tooth AND your diet, so you don’t feel deprived! And remember, even if you do indulge in some not-so-healthy foods on Thanksgiving, moderation is important. Further, don’t let a day of celebration derail your management plan. Just do your best to get back on track the next day!
